Hanston Square Ortigas Center

Hanston Properties

Hanston Properties Inc. developed its first project, the Hanston Building, in 1982. It was one of the pioneer office buildings in the Ortigas Center area. It was also one of the first buildings to host business process outsourcing (BPO) companies in the 1990s with tenants such as Software Ventures International and The Resource Group (TRG). The building was designed from the beginning to handle much higher loads with additional riser and cabling infrastructure. This allowed the building to transition smoothly into accommodating the needs of BPOs and call centers.

Current tenants of Hanston Building include the Manila Bulletin, East West Bank, and Asus International – the global computer hardware manufacturer, among others.

In line with its long experience catering to the needs of the office sector, Hanston Properties, Inc. decided to develop another office building.

The shareholders and managers of Hanston Properties, Inc. have extensive contacts in the construction industry by virtue of their investments in the steel industry. This has allowed Hanston Properties, Inc. to leverage its supplier contacts and put together the necessary expertise to develop a highly specified project at very competitive costs.

The construction materials used in Hanston Square were sourced through long-term partners over the past two decades. The exterior glass and aluminum facade was imported from Singapore. The elevators, power generators, air conditioning, and aluminum cladding were all supplied by Mitsubishi Japan.
